Woodblock Carving Process for Week of 1/23/23

This week I've managed to get the fingers I've been carving to look curved and like actual fingers. Unfortunately the wood split again even after gluing it back together, but I am managing to incorporate this into the composition. The new challenge now is to carve defined lines into the wood in order to make a mark where the hands are ripping apart the chest. All-in-all, I think it's turning out pretty well, but I may need to stay after for a day or two to speed up the process.
