Woodblock Carving Process

For me, working with wood has been extremely challenging. I've had tons of complications with my wood splitting, some fault of my own, and some the wood on its own, but nonetheless, it's been difficult to work around. It's more complicated as I get into the specifics. Recently, I've been trying to round the fingers that I'm sculpting (trying to get them to look more like fingers) and they are slowing coming together! On the downside, however, my wood plank split all the way across the middle, but luckily this split will work with the composition I have planned even though it may not be the greatest thing to work on. Can't wait to see the final product!
