Home Project - Process Post for Performance Art Project

For our next home project, I've chosen to go the performance art route. For this particular assignment, the prompt is to "become a universal force." I have decided to follow this under the theme of identity. Our identity is shaped through internal and external forces. Things like culture, ethnicity, personality, experiences, environment, and nature make up who we are and how we chose to identify. This, in turn, has a strong impact on society and how we function on our daily lives, often without even realizing it. I was intrigued by this concept, and thought that it would be interesting to explore for the upcoming project. I plan to execute my ideas by using jewelry as a representation of culture specifically, but also other factors that influence one's identity. I am currently collecting pieces of jewelry for the assignment. Right now, I do have a lot, but more is still needed to reach the goal.
